Patrick Turpin’s show Itty Bitty Little Titty Piece is absurdist, utterly bonkers, and features more dildos than your average sex shop. So frankly, what’s not to love?

Having debuted at last year’s Fringe, Turpy (as Patrick likes to call himself) is definitely not afraid to take risks. The result is is a surreal and sparkly cabaret that’s somewhere between genius and madness.

From the moment he appears on stage, in a smart suit and pink high heels, this show is wonderfully unpredictable. We laughed, we were challenged, and we found ourselves asking: why aren’t more comedians as left-field as this guy??

From themes as diverse as Turpy’s perfect bathroom to what happens when a gay man organises a stag party – hint: think origami & dildos – you probably won’t have the slightest clue where this comedian is headed next. Something that feels just a little bit thrilling.

Amongst sight gags, more dildos, and surreal scenes at the Post Office Collection Centre, we found ourselves utterly entertained. Our particular favourite, the Three wise men reimagined with Northern Irish accents and organisational issues. Absolutely brilliant!

As for Turpin himself, he began his career as part of The Leeds Tealights, and has gone on to be a regular on London’s alternative Comedy scene. He was also a principle cast member of 4Music sketch show Pop Sludge, and has appeared at Glastonbury, Green Man, and the Lattitude Festival.

Turpy … we’re seeing a bright and anarchic future ahead!
