I've been photographing gigs since my undergraduate days when I smuggled cameras into Glasgow Apollo and other venues. Concert/stage photography is still my greatest passion and what I do best. Frankly, I keep worrying that I'll wake up. I'm living the dream, more than I ever...er...dreamed. I have an open invitation to photograph several of my favourite musicians, such as Steve Hackett, Amanda Palmer, -M- (Matthieu Chedid), and the sublime Fatoumata Diawara. Oh, and there's even a Tom Waits CD which uses one of my pics of him. Permission to engage smug mode (my default setting)?
