Scotland's online arts and culture magazine

The Wee Review features all artforms right across Scotland. We’ve a long-standing and settled team of regular contributors, especially in Edinburgh.

However, there are a few areas where we could always use a extra pair of hands from new people who are looking to contribute. They are:

– Theatre in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth
– Film in general
– Music in general, especially folk, jazz and new Scottish artists
– All artforms in the Borders, Highlands and Islands

If any of this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us an email stating where you are and what you’d like to cover, together with a couple of examples of your writing.

Ideally, we’d like to see previous arts reviews you’ve done, but failing that, any public-facing writing will do – a blog, academic work, press release. We can’t take everyone but we’ll endeavour to reply to everyone.

Please note, with online publishing being what it is, the whole team is currently unpaid, including editors, so we can’t help if you’re looking for paid work.
