The Wee Review has won Best Online Publication at the inaugural Theatre and Technology Awards, presented at London’s Bush Theatre on Sunday 22 October. The awards celebrate the digital and creative technology revolution in theatre, recognising outstanding achievements and innovation using technology.

Categories included honours for innovative sound, lighting, marketing, podcasting and more, with the Barbican, the National Theatre and the Globe among the finalists. The Wee Review flew the flag for Scotland.

The ceremony was hosted by actor and presenter Paul Lavers with individual awards presented by industry figures from each category. Following a round of public nominations and voting, the Online Publication category was judged and hosted by the founder and editor of arts website Afridiziak, Sophia A.
