If you want fun and lots of it, you will love this event. Tigerstyle start one of the most lively evenings of the festival. They are a many piece Bhangra/folk fusion band with members hailing from all over. Glasgow, India, and even New York are brought together under this formidable group as they blast their party at the crowd. There are absolute star performances in vocalists Ishmeet Narula and Nav Sidhu, while all the musicians steal the scene when given the chance. Every track is infectious. The audience is treated to an educational overview of traditional Bhangra dance moves to accompany the heavy beats. In under 2 minutes a frosty British crowd is transformed into a revelling party. In an unforgiving venue that would spell death for most outfits, Tigerstyle don’t flinch, and create a mini arena with their pulsing energy and onstage charisma. No prior knowledge of Bhangra required but energy to match the performers is a must.
