Who are you and what are you doing in Edinburgh?

Did you used to work for the police before The Wee Review? My name is Hayley Ellis and my alibi for Edinburgh is that I’ll be doing my show FOMO at 9.35pm every night at the Community Project from the 4th – 28th August. I have no alibi for the 15th. That’s my day off so hope no crimes happen.

Fringe first-timer or old hand?

This will be my second hour show, so sort of first old hand.

FOMO. It’s a very modern disease. How and why do you think we all started to get it?

Join my FOMO support group at 9.35pm at the Community Project from the 4th – 28th Aug to discuss the movement of FOMO.

What do you fear missing out on most?

An audience in Edinburgh.

Is there a cure for FOMO?

OHNO see what I did there. Ugh. Sorry, I’m upset in myself for that. No, there isn’t, but there are ways to manage it. Such as seeing my show at 9.35pm… These tedious links I create are getting boring now aren’t they?

Any other neuroses you want to get off your chest while we’re at it?

I wouldn’t say I’m neurotic? Would you? What makes you think that? I mean I haven’t said much to insinuate that? Why are you telling my friends I’m neurotic?

What are you looking forward to most about August?

The vegetarian breakfast in City Cafe. Divine. Oh and something about the arts festival.

Hayley Ellis: FOMO is at… well, you must know by now
